FOXE FREQUENCY

Following a sixth month hiatus, British DIY band FOXE have made a bold return with new single ‘Frequency’. Reminiscent of Darlia, White or Declan Welsh and the Decadent Welsh, this London-based trio bring a rampaging, Peter Pan attitude to the fore of this alternative dance floor anthem. The song is all very tongue-in-cheek, propelling the listener to the bleary-eyed, highly intoxicated part of the night where destruction and dance is all that lies ahead of you. From the song’s quirky opening, it’s the driving rhythm that’ll have you hooked onto the ‘Frequency’ that FOXE emit through the wildly spiking guitars, hopping bass line, energetic, multi-dimensional percussion and one hell of a catchy chorus. It’s juvenile, fun and in it’s own way a celebration of all the mistakes we make when we’re young, dumb and drunk… but at least it’s a good story. - Hannah Thacker
